Young voters: registration and turnout
Prepare to vote using official registration and election-office resources.
An age group’s population, voter registrations and ballots cast are different measures. They do not establish how a generation will vote. The illustrated crowd is fictional and does not document a real event.
Use Vote.gov and your election office to check registration, identification and deadlines. Students living away from home should verify residence and eligibility rules with the relevant state office.
